Policies

** We appreciate you choosing It’s All About You Birthdays for your child’s birthday party celebration.  Our hope is that your child’s party will be both memorable and exciting!! To help ensure the best possible experience we ask you to adhere to the following:

Party Reservation 
Our customized parties are typically booked 4-6 weeks in advance of party date. To reserve your party date we require a non-refundable credit card deposit of $100 for the Group, Prestige or Elite party package.  A non-refundable credit card deposit of 50% is required for the Ultimate or Platinum party package. Your deposit will be applied towards your final bill.

 Once your deposit has been received, we will set up a date & time for your consultation with a party planner. After consultation you will receive an electronic party 'Terms & Agreement'. This agreement must be signed and emailed within 3 days. We will need your confirmed and final head count no later than 8 days prior to the party date. Finalization of headcount will be confirmed via email, fax or telephone and should include names of all party guest including guest of honor .

Payment
You will receive your final invoice via e-mail 7 days prior to party date (based on final headcount submission). The invoice is subject to change if final headcount has not been received 8 days prior to party date.
Final payments can be paid using a major credit/debit card or in cash. Credit card payments must be paid 7 days prior to the party via paypal.  If paying your remaining balance in cash, it must be paid before set up & decoration. If your remainding balance is not received at this time, we reserve the right to cancel your event.

Rush Policy
If you are requesting and we have an available party date less than 2 weeks, we may require a rush fee. You will be informed of this fee at time of booking (usually between $25 - $50). 

Party Locations:
We will gladly host your event in the comfort of your home or another chosen location. Clubhouses, hotels, parks etc. In the event that you choose a hotel or public location, please be advised that you are responsible for all parking fees and any gratuities to bellman that may incur to execute your event. 


Cancellation Terms
Your deposit is non-refundable and cannot be returned for any reason. In the case of an emergency, we will gladly reschedule your party with the next best available date. If new invitations and food/beverage are needed, an additional fee will apply. Elite, Ultimate & Platinum parties cancelled less than 5 days prior to the scheduled event will be charged 50% of their total amount due.

Party Time
 IAAYB parties are 1.5 hours in duration. Elite, Ultimate & Platinum packages are 2 hours. Your party hostess will arrive approximately between 1 hr. to 1.5 hours prior to your scheduled event for set-up. We kindly ask that you keep the guest of honor and/or any pets away from the party area until the room transformation is complete.

We understand that some parties may extend after your event. We ask that you move your guest to a seperate location so that your host can begin clean up and breakdown.



What if there is inclement weather?
In the event of severe weather, we reserve the right to reschedule the party. Most outdoor parties can resume as scheduled indoors if it rains.

In the event that a child does not show up, do I still have to pay for that child?
Yes, your final RSVP count determines the price for your party.  The RVSP headcount determines the number of costumes, games, prizes, and crafts that are prepared in advance. Certain packages include gift bags. You may keep the party gift bags for any child that does not show up. If a child chooses not to participate during the party, you are still charged for your final count. 

What if a child becomes ill or has an allergic reaction?
It's All About You and its owners, operators, and employees assume no liability for accidents, food allergies, and/or injuries to party guests or property damage. As event planning professionals, we can assure you that the utmost care will be taken to provide safe and entertaining activities for your guest.

Will you take party photos and will they be used on your website?
We host several private events, corporate events & celebrity children's events. We respect you the client and your privacy. Although, some photos may be used on our website, no identifying information will be published. If you do not wish to have your child on our website, please let us know.

What is the minimum and maximum number of children?
Our packages have a minimum number of eight children. Parties smaller than eight will still be charged for eight children. An addtional hostess fee of $55 will be charged for groups of 10 or more.

  • 10-14 guest require 1 addt'l host

  • 15-19 guest require 2 addt'l host

  •  20-25 guest require 3 addt'l host       

Supervision
We are not a daycare service. We are soley there for entertainment purposes. We kindly ask that you monitor any disruptive children or any child that does not wish to participate. This will help us to  provide the best possible party experience for you and your child.


What days and times can parties be held?
Mon-Thurs.  4:00-6:00pm
Fri.     6:00-8:00pm
Sat.     Availabilities between Noon-5pm
Sun.   3:00-5:00pm
 
Parking
We will need a spot in your driveway to load and unload our equipment into the home.

What time should the party guest arrive?
Please have them arrive on time.  Our parties start promptly at the designated time. It is crucial that we begin on time so everyone can enjoy the fun. We have several parties booked in one day and cannot go back on activities for late comers. (example if we are done with manicures and are now in the middle of coronation we cannot stop in the middle of that activity to do a manicure for a late comer).

Costumes
All costumes are made to wear over a child's own clothing. We suggest that girls wear a leotard or spandex pants w/a t-shirt.



Is there a designated time to serve food?
Yes, food can be served midway into the party.  Your party host will entertain for 45 min. then break for food. We suggest finger foods such as: pizza, chicken nuggets and sandwhiches. Your party host will be happy to serve them. The food portion is 15 minutes. Activities will resume as scheduled for the additional 30 min.

Travel Fee
A travel/fuel surcharge may apply to your event.  We charge a fee of $30 for locations that are more than 25 miles outside of the Metro-Atlanta area.

I
n the event of damage or loss of It’s All About You Birthdays inventory, the financial responsibility lies entirely with you the contracted client. As the client, you also assume all liability and responsibility for allergic reactions or any other medical reaction from the menu, wearing of costumes and or activity taken place during the party.
